The African savannah is one of the places with the most wild animals in the world. It is also known as the amusement park of animals. Although it is a amusement park for animals, it is also very dangerous.

On the African grasslands, there are more than 100 kinds of carnivores, and the strength of some herbivores and omnivores should not be underestimated. So overall, the African savannah is a wild and dangerous place. Among the many beasts, five are particularly prominent and have a very high reputation in the world.

These five animals are lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and giraffe. Among these five animals, elephant, rhino, buffalo and giraffe are herbivores, while lion is a carnivore. There is competition and predation in them.

1. African Elephant

African elephants are the largest mammals on land. Adult male African elephants can reach a height of about 3.5 meters and weigh about 4 to 5 tons. The largest elephant weighs 10 tons.

It can be said that the adult elephant is a well-deserved overlord on the land. Although they are herbivores, they are actually extremely ferocious and have a strong sense of territory. If they approach them in the wild, they will be attacked in most cases.

2. Black Rhino

Although the black rhino is not as big as the African elephant, it is also very strong compared to other animals. The adult black rhino is about 3-3.75 meters long and weighs between 800-1400 kilograms, which is more than four times that of a male lion. Therefore, in terms of strength, it is far stronger than the lion.

The rhino has hard skin and a single horn on its head. With sprinting, the penetrating injury caused by it should not be underestimated. It is the second-ranked animal on the African continent, and its fierceness is no less than that of a hippo.

3. African Wild Buffalo

African ild buffalo is a common food for lions, but that doesn't mean lions can beat it. The reason why lions can prey on wild African buffalo is mainly because lions are gregarious cats. They go out in herds so the bison can be caught.

The adult African wild buffalo has a head length of 2.1-3.4 meters and a weight of 300-900 kg, which is slightly smaller than that of rhinos and hippos, but more than enough compared to male lions. In Africa to the grasslands, bison is a very dangerous animal and the biggest threat to lions.

4. African Lion

Lions are cats that are as famous as tigers, and they also have the reputation of "king of beasts". They form the most powerful herds in the grasslands. They are large, so even elephants will have to detour when they see them.

The lion is a very ferocious carnivore. Although the lions are very powerful, in terms of one-on-one strength, they are not at the top of the grasslands. Because of their light weight, hippos can also beat lions.

5. Giraffe

Giraffes' extremely long necks, various patchy and spotted coats, and protruding horn-like structures on top of their heads make giraffes dazzling stars on the African savannah. But you know what? This seemingly peaceful and docile animal is actually full of danger. To say who is the most dangerous among the vegetarian animals in the African savannah, the giraffe must be counted as one.

Even though they spend most of their time feeding on leaves on top of trees, they seem to stand still when they sleep. If giraffes are unable to escape from danger, they will resort to aggressive tactics. Even in the face of the attack of the lions, the giraffe is not afraid.
