2. Mastery of style, color and fabric: The style, color and fabric of clothing are the three basic elements of clothing design. The style of the clothing is the outer contour shape and the detail shape of the parts, and it is the basis for the design change. The outer contour is composed of the length and latitude of the garment, including the waistline, the length of the dress, the width of the shoulders, and the looseness of the hem. The most common contour shapes are "A", "X", T, H, O, etc. The outer contour of the garment forms the line of the garment and directly determines the popularity of the style. The shape of the details of the parts refers to the collar type, sleeve type, pockets, cutting structure and even the design of pleats, zippers and buttons.

3. Drawing foundation and modeling ability: Drawing foundation and modeling ability are one of the basic skills of fashion designers. Of course, some of the previous design masters were not able to draw, but he needed to have more outstanding performance in other aspects. However, if some people still cannot express their design ideas well by drawing even after systematic study and training in school, it will bring great difficulties to their own creation.

4. Rich imagination: Imagination is the wings of fashion designers. No matter how good the skills of designers without rich imagination are, they can only be called craftsmen or tailors, but cannot be called a real design city.
