Carl Larsson was born on May 28, 1853, in Gamla Stan, the old quarter of Stockholm. Despite his family's poor circumstances, his artistic talent shone early in life, offering a beacon of hope.


Karin Larsson: A Visionary Designer


Karin Bergöö was born in 1859 in Hallsberg, where her father was a successful businessman. Her artistic talents also emerged early, leading her to study at the Arts and Crafts School in Stockholm and later at the Art Academy from 1877 to 1882.
