Day 2: Rubielos de Mora


Distance: 60 km south from Albarracin.


Next, head to Rubielos de Mora, a village known for its rich architectural heritage. This village flourished in the 16th and 17th centuries and is sometimes referred to as the "Court of the Sierra" due to its many aristocratic homes. Visit the Ex-Colegiata Santa María la Mayor, where you can admire an exquisite Gothic altarpiece. The Renaissance-style Town Hall is another must-see. Just a short drive from Rubielos de Mora, you’ll find Mora de Rubielos - yes, they are two different villages - , a town dominated by its impressive medieval castle. The views from the castle are stunning, with the surrounding countryside laid out before you. Day 4: Puertomingalvo

In Puertomingalvo, step into a village where time has seemingly stood still. The main attraction here is the 13th-century castle, which towers over the town. As you wander through the streets, take note of the 14th-century Gothic town hall, one of the best-preserved examples of civil architecture in the region.
